This course covers everything included in our level 3 certificate in B14 facial electrotherapy but it comes with an extra day to learn how to deliver microdermabrasion, radiofrequency, and ultrasound treatments.
Who is this course for?
Our VTCT courses are for those at the very beginning of their beauty career. Take Level 2 first, and then you can get stuck into Level 3 courses like this one.
Prerequisites:
While VTCT courses are for those who are just starting out, you’ll need to take our Level 2 course (or equivalent) first. Then you’re all set.
Duration:
You’ll need to allow 7 days in total.
6 days for the course and practising treatments.
And then 1 day for the exam.

This course is delivered in person.
Course content:
Our trainers have oodles of experience, so you’re in safe hands. They give you plenty of time to practise and ask questions and they do it all with kindness. Joanna and Oktawia have both built their thriving beauty businesses up from nothing. They were once where you are now.
This course covers all the fundamentals of facial electrical treatments using direct, high frequency, galvanic, EMS, micro current, lymphatic drainage and microdermabrasion, and includes:
- Applying micro dermabrasion techniques
- Applying radiofrequency and ultrasound techniques
- Dermatology and microbiology theory
- Anatomy and physiology theory
- Salon health and safety best practice
- Client consultation, treatment planning and preparation
- 5 days theory and practical learning – you’ll get plenty of time to practise on live models
- There will also be access to extra online support and theory classes
Outcomes:
You’ll be fully versed in all things facial electrical treatments with the added bonus of the radiofrequency, microdermabrasion and ultrasound techniques. And you’ll be all set to move onto CPD courses. There’s no stopping you now!
Cost:
£2000 including VAT, plus exam and VTCT registration fee of £140 including VAT.
